Types of cookies

Technical cookies. There are 2 types of technical cookies:

  • Persistent cookies: once the browser is closed, these are not destroyed, but remain until a preset expiry date; and
  • Session cookies: these are destroyed every time the browser is closed, as they are used only to trace the session of the user during browsing, for example, make a purchase or be authenticated to access restricted areas.

Analytical cookies:

These are collected for statistical purposes and are similar to technical cookies as they collect information, in aggregate form, on users’ accesses and numbers, and on how users use the website.

These store certain user preferences, such as the language, products selected for purchase, etc. to improve the service.
